When it comes to health and whichever service you need, you should always choose an expert in that field. Kevin was the first Chiropractor in the UK to have both a Sports Sciences degree and a Doctor of Chiropractic. Remember the more effective your treatment is – the quicker you will get better!
HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?
This depends on a number of factors: age, general health, weight, occupation, your lifestyle and whether you follow our advice on exercises, ice, rest etc and visit frequency.
For example, a young fit person with a one week history of back pain and no previous episodes may need two to four sessions. An older person with a long history of more serious back pain episodes may need five to eight sessions to get better.
Usually you will respond best to two visits a week for the first week or two, and then less frequently as you improve.

FIRST VISIT INCLUDING INITIAL TREATMENT
Your first visit to Peverell Chiropractic Clinic consists of a free consultation, followed by a Chiropractic, Neurological and Orthopaedic examination and your first treatment. During your initial examination if you have a low back or hip problem you may be asked to undress to your underwear. For ladies a gown is provided and you are also welcome to bring either leggings or a pair of shorts to wear.

SUBSEQUENT TREATMENTS
The specific problem you have, your age and body type will determine how your treatment sessions are individually tailored to you. Advice on rest, lifestyle and exercise will also be given during your recovery. Ladies will wear a gown and just remove their upper garments/blouse.
